Cookies are small text files stored on your hard drive, assigned to the browser you use, and through which the party that sets the cookie (in this case, us) receives certain information. Cookies cannot run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. They serve to make the internet offer more user-friendly and effective overall. This website uses transient and persistent cookies. Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include session cookies, which store a session ID allowing different requests from your browser to be assigned to the shared session. This enables your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies in your browser’s security settings at any time. You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, refuse third-party cookies or all cookies. However, please note that you may not be able to use all features of this website.
Additional Functions and Offerings on Our Website
Beyond the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services that you may use if you are interested. Typically, you will need to provide additional personal data for these, which we use to provide the respective service and for which the previously mentioned data processing principles apply. In some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. These providers have been carefully selected, commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions, and are regularly checked. We may also share your personal data with third parties when events, contract conclusions, or similar services are offered by us in cooperation with partners. You will receive further information about this when you provide your personal data.
Objection or Withdrawal of Consent to the Processing of Your Data
If you have given consent to the processing of your data, you can withdraw it at any time. Such a withdrawal affects the permissibility of processing your personal data after you have expressed it to us. Where we base the processing of your personal data on a balance of interests, you may object to the processing. This applies if processing is not necessary to fulfill a contract with you, which we will clarify in the following description of functions. When exercising such an objection, please explain why we should not process your personal data as we have done. In the event of a justified objection, we will examine the situation and will either stop or adjust the data processing or demonstrate our compelling legitimate grounds for continuing the processing. You can, of course, object to the processing of your personal data for advertising and data analysis purposes at any time.

Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses „cookies,“ which are text files stored on your computer that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. However, your IP address is shortened by Google within EU member states or in other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the website’s operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide further services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, please note that you may not be able to use all features of this website fully in that case.
